Blue Hill Comprehensive Plan Presentation, Tuesday February 18 at Consolidated School

The Blue Hill Comprehensive Plan, which will go on the ballot of the April 4 Town Meeting, is being presented at a community information session this Tuesday, February 18th at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of the Blue Hill Consolidated School.

Plan Committee members will provide an overview of the goals of the plan, with a question & answer session. This is the first information session before the Town Meeting, with a second to be held in the same place on Thursday, March 20th.

Reminder – Draft Blue Hill Comprehensive Plan Public Comments

REMINDER – Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry/DACF will be accepting public comments on the Draft Blue Hill Comprehensive Plan through 7/26/2024, that an electronic copy is available online at maine.gov/dacf/municipalplanning/comp_plans, and that a hard copy is available for review at the Town Hall.

Comprehensive Plan Committee Minutes 5/18/2023

Attached are the approved minutes from the May 18 Comprehensive Plan Committee meeting. The meeting included discussion of the process for reviewing the various chapter drafts and the Committee’s efforts to maximize community engagement and feedback on the plan as it takes shape (including survey responses, sessions to discuss the chapter topic areas, and more general sessions—both large and small—to obtain community feedback on how the Town might develop over the next decade.
