Town Office will be closed Tuesday, December 24th at 11:00am and re-open Friday, December 27th for normal business hours.

On-line 2025 Dog Licenses available now!
2025 Dog Licenses are now available for purchase on-line ONLY. We will update you when in-person registrations start this December. Please see link below:
Maine Dog Licensing:
- A PDF of your dog’s rabies certificate. This is required to be uploaded.
- Your dog’s microchip number and microchip issuer (Home Again, 24 Petwatch, Avid, etc) for free Maine microchip registration with dog licensing.

2025 Nomination Papers for Select Board, School Board & Planning Board are Available for the Annual Town Meeting
Nomination papers are now available for the upcoming April 2024 Town Election. The nomination paper filing deadline is close of business on Monday, February 3, 2025.

Toddy Pond Dam: 12/19 Joint Statement
This is the latest in a series of bi-weekly “joint statements” reporting on progress to resolving the proposed abandonment of three dams, one of which has created Toddy Pond as currently known.
Representatives from the 5 Town Dam Committee met at the Bucksport Town Office on Wednesday, December 18 to discuss new developments regarding Bucksport Mill LLC’s petition to abandon the Toddy, Alamoosook, and Silver Lake dams.
