Surplus Float Bid Deadline: June 3 @ 5:00pm
As a reminder, all bids for the Town’s surplus floats are due at the Town Office no later than 5:00pm on Monday, June 3, 2024.

Surplus Town Floats for Sale
The Town of Blue Hill is soliciting bids for surplus floats previously used at the Village Wharf. Five floats are available for purchase—three floats approximately 16’x14′ and two 16’x6′ finger floats. The floats will be sold (individually) as is, where is, with no minimum bid.
The deadline for sealed bids is Monday, June 3 at 5:00pm at the Town Office; the bids will be opened at the Select Board’s public meeting scheduled to begin at 5:30pm that evening.

FEMA Disaster Assistance: Public Notification
FEMA Disaster Assistance: Public Notification for the Town of Blue Hill will be held 4/13 and 4/14 from 8am-2pm at the Blue Hill Fire Station.
FEMA Disaster Assistance team members will be available to meet with town residents on April, 13 & 14, 2024, from 8A.M to 2 P.M. at the Blue Hill Fire Station to provide information and take applications for financial assistance from homeowners and renters that experienced financial losses as result of the 09-13 January storms that occurred in Hancock County.
If you’re unable to meet with FEMA on April 13 & 14, you’re welcome to visit the FEMA Disaster Recovery Center, every day, 8 A.M. to 6 P.M. at the Moore Community Center, 125 State Street, Ellsworth. Or, residents may call: (800) 621-3362 at their convenience to begin the assistance process. Thank you.

2022 Financial Statements Available
The Town’s audited 2022 financial statements are now available.
The Select Board and staff are working hard, together with the Town’s auditors, to provide audited 2023 financial statements on a more timely basis.

Surplus Equipment Sale Ends Monday
The Town’s sale of surplus computer equipment (PCs, hard drives, network equipment, and a monitor) will conclude on Monday. Any resident or property owner can make an offer at the Town Office by 4pm.

Surplus Computer Equipment SALE
The Town of Blue Hill has identified certain computer equipment that it no longer needs and is offering this equipment for sale to Blue Hill taxpayers and residents. There are several desktop computers, external and internal storage devices, networking equipment and a monitor.

2021 Transfer Station Audit Available
The audited financial statements for the Blue Hill/Surry Transfer Station are now available. A hard copy is available for review at the Town Office, and a soft copy is available for download.
