Town Administrator Hired
In a press release issued today, the Select Board announced that Julie Atwell will join Town staff as Town Administrator, effective on or about September 29, 2023. Ms. Atwell has been Town Administrator in Jackson, NH for more than ten years and brings substantial experience relevant to Blue Hill.

Surplus Equipment Sale Ends Monday
The Town’s sale of surplus computer equipment (PCs, hard drives, network equipment, and a monitor) will conclude on Monday. Any resident or property owner can make an offer at the Town Office by 4pm.

The meeting included discussion of the draft goals, objectives, and strategies for the Water Resources and Marine Resources chapters.

Comprehensive Plan Committee Minutes 5/18/2023
Attached are the approved minutes from the May 18 Comprehensive Plan Committee meeting. The meeting included discussion of the process for reviewing the various chapter drafts and the Committee’s efforts to maximize community engagement and feedback on the plan as it takes shape (including survey responses, sessions to discuss the chapter topic areas, and more general sessions—both large and small—to obtain community feedback on how the Town might develop over the next decade.

Surplus Computer Equipment SALE
The Town of Blue Hill has identified certain computer equipment that it no longer needs and is offering this equipment for sale to Blue Hill taxpayers and residents. There are several desktop computers, external and internal storage devices, networking equipment and a monitor.
